A hurricane is a huge storm that could be up to 600 miles across and have strong winds reaching speeds of 75 to 200 mph. In most cases every hurricane lasts for over a week, moving 10 to 20 miles per hour over the open ocean. They also gather heat and energy through contact with warm ocean waters and when they come up; they destroy much of the nature in the place where they appear. And in some regions where it is known that there are hurricanes appearing often, people usually know what to do, they prepare for the happening but you can never be sure about the exact strength of the attack.
